The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა ქუთაისში. კალათბურთელი, მწვრთნელი. თამაშობდა ქუთაისის "დინამოსა" (1938-40, 44) და თბილისის "დინამოში" (1945-52). სსრკ ჩემპიონი (1950), მეორე (1947) და მესამე (1948) პრიზიორი, სსრკ თასის მფლობელი (1949). ბავშვთა კალათბურთის ერთ-ერთი საუკეთესო სპეციალისტი. მისი აღზრდილები არიან: ზურაბ საკანდელიძე, მიხეილ ქორქია, ნიკოლოზ დერიუგინი, ზურაბ გრძელიძე და გელა დარსაძე. სსრკ დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი, საქართველოს ფიზკულტურისა და სპორტის დამსახურებული მოღვაწე.
