The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა თელავში. წყალბურთელი. თამაშობდა თბილისის  "დინამოში" (1957-67), მოსკოვის  "დინამოსა" (1968-74) და სსრკ ნაკრებში (1958-72). XVII და XIX ოლიმპიური თამაშების (1960, რომი და 1968, მეხიკო) და ევროპის ჩემპიონატის (1962) მეორე პრიზიორი, სსრკ ჩემპიონი (1965, 69). საერთაშორისო კლასის სპორტის ოსტატი, რუსეთის ფედერაციის სპორტის დამსახურებული ოსტატი (2001), რუსეთის ფედერაციის დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი.
