The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

დაიბადა თბილისში. წყალში მხტომელი. სსრკ ჩემპიონი (1980) და მესამე პრიზიორი (1979), სსრკ თასის სამგზის მფლობელი (1978-80), ევროპის იუნიორთა ჩემპიონატის მეორე პრიზიორი (1978), საერთაშორისო კლასის სპორტის ოსტატი. დაიღუპა 1983 წელს მსოფლიო უნივერსიადაზე (კანადის ქალაქ ედმინტონში) შეჯიბრებისას მიღებული ტრამვით. 1983 წელს, გარდაცვალების შემდეგ, დაჯილდოვდა ოლიმპიური ორდენით.
