The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა ონის რ-ნი, სოფელი ქვედი. საქართველოს მრავალგზის ჩემპიონი თავისუფალ ჭიდაობაში, სამბოში. ასევე, საქართველოს მრავალგზის ჩემპიონი კლასიკურ (ბერძნულ-რომაულ) და ქართულ ჭიდაობაში.

საბჭოთა კავშირის სპორტის ოსტატი, მრავალი ჯილდოს მფლობელი. დიდი წვლილი აქვს შეტანილი ქართული ჭიდაობის განვითარებაში (1950-1962წწ). აფხაზეთის შინაგან საქმეთა სამინისტროს სამბოს ინსტრუქტორი. სოხუმის სპორტსაზოგადოება "დინამოს" მწვრთნელი. საბჭოთა კავშირის სპორტსაზოგადოება "კოლმეურნეს" ჩემპიონი.
