The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

დაიბადა თბილისში. ჩოგბურთელი, მწვრთნელი. სსრკ ხალხთა სპარტაკიადის მეორე პრიზიორი ამიერკავკასიის გუნდის შემადგენლობაში (1928). სსრკ და საქართველოს სსრ დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი, საკავშირო კატეგორიის მსაჯი. ალექსანდრე მეტრეველის პირველი მწვრთნელი. 1932-69 წლებში იყო თბილისის ჩოგბურთის კლუბ “დინამოს” მთავარი მწვრთნელი.
