The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

დაიბადა სოფ. ჩაბინაანში, ახმეტის რაიონი. საქართველოს 11-გზის ჩემპიონი ქართულ ჭიდაობაში, საქართველოს აბსოლუტური ფალავანი (1952). ცნობილი სპორტული მოღვაწე, ქართული ჭიდაობის სახელმძღვანელოს ავტორი (1987), ქართული ჭიდაობის ფედერაციის პასუხისმგებელი მუშაკი 1979 წლიდან. საქართველოს ფიზიკური კულტურისა და სპორტის დამსახურებული მუშაკი, ღირსების ორდენის კავალერი.
