The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა საბერძნეთში. ქართული საჩოგბურთო სკოლის ფუძემდებელი. საქართველოს ჩემპიონი 1918-27 წლებში, სსრკ პირველი სპარტაკიადის (1928) მეორე პრიზიორი, საქართველოს ნაკრების მოთამაშე-მწვრთნელი. საქართველოს დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი, ფიზკულტურისა და სპორტის დამსახურებული მუშაკი. ედუარდ ნეგრებეცკის, არჩილ მდივანის და თამარ გოგოლაურის პირველი მწვრთნელი. რეპრესირებულია 1937 წელს, რეაბილიტირებულია 1956-ში.
