The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა ქუთაისში. ფეხბურთელი, მწვრთნელი. თამაშობდა ქუთაისის ახალგაზრდულ ნაკრებში, იყო ქუთაისის ცენტრალური სტადიონის დირექტორი და ქუთაისის “ტორპედოს” საფეხბურთო სკოლის მთავარი მწვრთნელი (1969-91). მისი აღზრდილები არიან: ჯემალ ხერხაძე, რევაზ ძოძუაშვილი, სერგო კუტივაძე, გივი და ლევან ნოდიები, რამაზ შენგელია, თენგიზ სულაქველიძე და თამაზ კოსტავა. საქართველოს დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი.
