დაამთავრა ქუთაისის გიმნაზია 1911 წელს.

1914 წელს იყო გაზეთ "ჩვენი ერის" რედაქტორ–გამომცემელი; 1938–1957წწ. მუშაობდა საქართველოს თეატრალურ მუზეუმში. თეატრმცოდნე.
