დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის იურიდიული ფაკულტეტი 1968 წელს.

1964-1970წწ. მუშაობდა შინაგან საქმეთა სამინისტროს სისტემაში; 1970-1980წწ. იყო საქართველოს პროკურატურის არასრულწლოვანთა საქმეების განყოფილების პროკურორი.
