The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: ონის რაიონი, სოფელი უწერა.

დაამთავრა ნოვოროსიისკის (ოდესის) უნივერსიტეტის ფიზიკა–მათემატიკის ფაკულტეტი.

1878 წლიდან მუშაობდა თბილისის პროგიმნაზიის (თბილისის II გიმნაზიის) მაწსავლებლად, ინსპექტორად; იყო თბილისის ვაჟთა I სკოლის პირველი ქართველი დირექტორი; 1915 წელს დაარსა "საშუალო კულტურულ–ტექნიკური სასწავლებელი".
