The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: ქობულეთის რაიონი, სოფელი გორგაძეები.

დაამთავრა ოდესის სამედიციცნო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტი 1954 წელს.

გაგზავნილი იყო აფრიკის ქვეყნებში ოფთალმოლოგად; მუშაობდა თვალის რქოვანას გადანერგვის პრობლემებზე; მის შრომებს შორის საინტერესოა თვალის მეორადი გლაუკომისა და რქოვანას გადანერგვის საკითხები; ოფთალმოლოგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი (1971), პროფესორი (1977).
