დაბადების ადგილი: დაბა ქედა.

დაამთავრა ბათუმის სახელმწიფო პედაგოგიური ინსტიტუტის ისტორია-ფილოლოგიის ფაკულტეტი 1988 წელს.

1983-1990წწ. მუშაობდა კომკავშირის აჭარის საოლქო კომიტეტში სხვადასხვა თანამდებობაზე; 1993-1994წწ. იყო "აჭარმომარაგების" გაერთიანების მმართველი; 2004-2005წწ. ბათუმის მერი.
