The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

1625–1635წწ. იყო სამცხის ათაბაგი(ყვარყვარე IV-ის შვილიშვილი, ქაიხოსრო II–ის ძე). ათაბაგობის მისაღებად მოაკვლევინა თავისი ძმისწული მანუჩარ III; სტამბოლში სულთანს ეახლა, მაჰმადიანობა მიიღო, საფარ-ფაშა დაირქვა და 1625 წელს ათაბაგი გახდა. სამცხე–საათაბაგოს ბაგრატ III-ის შემდეგდროინდელი გამგებლები ახალციხის ფაშებად იწოდებოდნენ. ბაგრატ III-ის დროს გაძლიერდა სამცხე-საათაბაგოს გათურქების პროცესი.
