The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: დაბა მესტია.

იყო ქართული(ძირითადად სვანური) მუსიკალური ფოლკლორის მცოდნე და პოპულარიზატორი; კრებდა და სწავლობდა ადგილობრივ სიმღერებს; 1933 წელს ჩამოაყალიბა ფოლკლორული ანსამბლი "ლილე", რომელიც ათეული წლების მანძილზე წარმატებით ემსახურებოდა ქართული მუსიკის კულტურის განვითარების საქმეს; 1937 წელს რეპრესირებულ იქნა და უკვალოდ დაიკარგა; მომღერალი და ლოტბარი.
