The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

ბაკურ V, მატიანე "მოქცევაი ქართლისაის" მიხედვით, ქართლის 41-ე მეფე, რომელმაც ტახტი დაიკავა ფარსმანის შემდგომ. ამავე წყაროს ცნობით, მისი სიკვდილით "დაესრულა მეფობაჲ ქართლისაჲ". "ქართლის ცხოვრების" მეფეთა სიაში ბაკურ V-ს, ფარსმან მეფის ძეს, 38-ე ადგილი უჭირავს. მისი სიკვდილის შემდგომ მისმა მცირეწლოვანმა შვილებმა ვერ შეძლეს მეფობის შენარჩუნება და ქართლში სპარსელები გაბატონდნენ.
