The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

ზაზა ციციშვილი იყო XVII საუკუნის შუა ხანების აღმოსავლეთ საქართველოს პოლიტიკური მოღვაწე, სომხით–საბარათიანოს მეწინავე სადროშოს სარდალი ვახტანგ V–ის მეფობის დროს. 1664 წელს მონაწილეობდა ვახტანგისა და არჩილის ბრძოლებში ერეკლე ბატონიშვილის წინააღმდეგ. 70–იან წლებში განხეთქილება მოუხდა ვახტანგ V–თან. მოკლეს შეპყრობის ცდისას.
