The Biographical Dictionary of Georgia covers biographies of people who belong to history of Georgia, who are linked with Georgia, lived in or beyond it.

The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

XVI საუკუნეების შუა წლების პოლიტიკური მოღვაწე; ძმასთან, ვ. დიასამიძესთან ერთად მხარს უჭერდა ქართლის მეფის ლუარსაბ I–ის პოლიტიკას; ლუარსაბმა იგი ლორე–ბამბაკის ბატონად დასვა; ათაბაგ ქაიხოსრო II–ის თხოვნით ირანის შაჰი თამაზ I 1553 წელს სამცხე–საათაბაგოში შეიჭრა; იგი სხვა დიდებულებთან ერთად დაატყვევეს და ძმასთან ერთად სიკვდილით დასაჯეს; მისი მამული ქაიხოსროს გადაეცა.
