The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

IX საუკუნის სასულიერო პირი, წმინდანი; გრიგოლ ხანძთელის მოწაფე, რომელიც "შერაცხულ იყო პირველთა თანა მოწაფეთა მისთა"; დიმიტრიოსი იხსენიება იმ წმინდა მამების გვერდით, "რომელთაგან მრავალნი უდიდესსა საზომსა მონაზონებისასა მიწევნულ იყვნენ და სასწაულნი დიდნი მათ მიერ იქნებოდეს და შემდგომად სიკვდილისა მათისა"; მოიხსენიება კლარჯეთის უდაბნოს ღირს მამათა და დედათა (VII-IXსს.) შორის 5 (18) ოქტომბერს.
