The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

1713 წლიდან იყო ქალაქის მელიქი; 1723 წლიდან მელიქ–მამასახლისი; ქალაქში ეწეოდა აღმშენებლობას. იყო ხოჯა ბეჰბუდას შვილიშვილი. მან გააფართოვა მამაპაპისეული მამულები. ვახუშტის ცნობით, "ოსმალობის" ხანაში ისაყ–ფაშის მხარდაჭერით სარგებლობდა და ქართველ დიდებულებს უპატივცემულოდ ეპყრობოდა. ერთი ქრონიკის ცნობით აშხაბეგ ბებუთაშვილი ისაყ–ფაშამ ჩამოახრჩო.
