დაამთავრა საქართველოს ტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტის ქიმიის ფაკულტეტი.

სიმღერა დაიწყო ანსამბლ "თაიგულში". 1980 წლიდან გამოდის როგორც სოლო შემსრულებელი; მღერის ძირითადად ქართველ კომპოზიტორთა ნაწარმოებებს. გამოცემული აქვს ორი ალბომი: "ნუშების თოვლი" და "არეული".
