The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

გურიის მთავარი 1483-1512წწ., კახაბერ I გურიელის ძე; ისარგებლა იმერეთში ოსმალთა შემოსევით, უარი თქვა იმერთა მეფის მორჩილებაზე; XVI საუკუნის დასაწყისში მოიგერია ოსმალთა შემოსევა ჭანეთის ჩრდილოეთ ნაწილში, რომელიც მაშინ გურიის სამთავროში შედიოდა; 1511 წელს სამცხის ათაბაგ მზეჭაბუკთან ბრძოლაში დაკარგა აჭარა და ჭანეთი.
