The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილიო: ქ. სტავროპოლი (რუსეთი).

დაამთავრა თბილისის სამხატვრო აკადემია 1930 წელს.

1937 წლიდან თბილისის სამხატვრო აკადემიაში ასწავლიდა ხატვას და კითხულობდა ლექციებს პლასტიკურ ანატომიაში; 1931 წლიდან სისტემატურად მონაწილეობდა თითქმის ყველა გამოფენაზე, მათ შორის საკავშიროზეც; მხატვრის მიერ შესრულებულმა პორტრეტებმა და პეიზაჟებმა დიდი წვლილი შეიტანეს ქართული ხელოვნების განვითარების საქმეში.
