The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

თბილისის საამიროს მეორე ამირა 914-952წწ. ჯაფარიანების დინასტიიდან, ჯაფარ I იბნ-ალის ძე, მისი არსებობა დასტურდება ნუმიზმატიკური მასალის მიხედვით. ეს იყო თბილისის პირველი ამირა, რომელმაც თავისი სახელით მოჭრა ფული. მისი სახელი, ხალიფა მუტის სახელთან ერთად, აღნიშნულია ჰიჯრით 342 და 343 წლებში (ე.ი 953-954წწ. და 954-955წწ.) თბილისში მოჭრილი არაბული ვერცხლის დირჰემებზე. ხალიფას სახელით მოჭრილი უკანასკნელი ჩვენთვის ცნობილი თბილისური დირჰემი 942-943 წლისაა.
