The Biographical Dictionary of Georgia covers biographies of people who belong to history of Georgia, who are linked with Georgia, lived in or beyond it.

The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. ოდესა, უკრაინა.

სწავლობდა პეტერბურგში. 1911-1918წწ. ცხოვრობდა და მოღვაწეობდა ქ. თბილისში; 1918 წლიდან ცხოვრობდა აშშ-ში, 1920 წლიდან - ნიუ-იორკში; 1936 წელს დააარსა ყოველწლიური საგუნდო ფესტივალი("Three-Choir festival"); თხზულებები: 4 ოპერა, ვოკალურ-ინსტრუმენტული კომპოზიციები, 5 სიმფონია, მათგან N5 გუნდთან ერთად "იერუსალიმ, ქალაქი სოლომონისა და ქრისტესი"(1958, შესრულდა), სიუიტები, პოემები, ებრაული გუნდები, ხალხური სიმღერების დამუშავებები; ებრაელი მუსიკისმცოდნე.
