The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

მისი თაოსნობით აშენდა კუმურდოს დიდი საკათედრო ტაძარი. იოანე კუმურდოელი მოხსენიებულია ტაძრის 964-967 წლების სამშენებლო წარწერაში. შემდეგ მოღვაწეობდა სინას მთის ქართველთა მონასტერში, სადაც თავისი ხარჯით და თაოსნობით გადააწერინა არა ერთი ხელნაწერი (სვიმენ სალოსის ცხოვრება, იადგარი გამოკრებილი და სხვა). კუმურდოს ეპისკოპოსი.
