The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

ლეონტი მროველის თანახმად, ქართლის სპასპეტი IV საუკუნეში. მოღვაწეობდა ასფაგურ მეფის დროს, რომლის გარდაცვალებითაც დასრულდა ფარნავაზიანთა მეფობა ქართლში. ასფაგურს მხოლოდ ასული დაჩა, რომლისთვისაც ქმრად ქართლის ერისთავებმა მაეჟანის თაოსნობით ირანის შაჰის ძე მირიანი მოიწვიეს. ლეონტი მროველის აზრით, ამით დაედო ქართლში საფუძველი ხოსროიანთა დინასტიას.
