The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

შირვანის მე-19 დამოუკიდებელი შაჰი 1120-1160 წლებში, ქესრანიდების დინასტიიდან. მანუჩაჰრ II-მ საქართველოს მეფის დავით IV აღმაშენებლის დახმარებით, რომლის ქალიშვილი ცოლად ჰყავდა, განდევნა სელჩუკები ქვეყნიდან. მისი მმართველობის ხანა შირვანის კულტურისთვის აყვავების ხანა იყო, ამ დროს მოღვაწეობდნენ გამოჩენილი პოეტები და სწავლულები: აბუ ლ-ალა განჯევი, ფალექსი შირვანი, ხაკანი შირვანი და სხვა.
