The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

ქართლის (იბერიის) მეფე, III საუკუნის დასასრულს ან IV საუკუნის დასაწყისში. "ქართლის ცხოვრების" ცნობით, იგი იყო ბაკურ მეფის ძე და მამა ასფაგურისა. ჩვენამდე მოღწეული ქართული წყაროები, რომლებშიც მოხსენიებულია მირდატ IV ("მოქცევაΩ ქართლისაΩ", "ქართლის ცხოვრება"), არავითარ კონკრეტულ ფაქტს არ ასახელებენ მისი მოღვაწეობიდან.
