The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაიბადა თავად სულხან ჭავჭავაძის ოჯახში. 1853-1856წწ. მონაწილეობდა ყირიმის ომში; 1877-1878წწ. რუსეთ-თურქეთის ომის დროს გენერალ-მაიორის ჩინით მეთაურობდა სევასტოპოლის 75-ე ქვეით პოლკს; ომის შემდეგ სამხედრო სამსახურიდან გადადგა. არჩეული იყო თბილისის გუბერნიის თავადაზნაურობის წინამძღოლად. თავადი, რუსეთის არმიის გენერალ-მაიორი.
