დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი საყვავისტყე, ჩოხატაურის რაიონი.

დაამთავრა საქართველოს სასოფლო-სამეურნეო ინსტიტუტის მებაღეობა-მევენახეობის ფაკულტეტი 1931 წელს.

1951 წელს ჩაის ხარისხოვანი ფოთლის უხვი მოსავლის მიღებისათვის მიენიჭა სოციალისტური შრომის გმირის წოდება. აგრონომი. მიღებული აქვს სახელმწიფო ჯილდოები.
