დაამთავრა საქართველოს სასოფლო-სამეურნეო ინსტიტუტი 1968 წელს.

1957-1970 წლებში იყო წულუკიძის სახელობის კოლმეურნეობის მეჩაიე-მერგოლური. ჩაის ფოთლის უხვი მოსავლის აღებისთვის მიენიჭა სოციალისტური შრომის გმირის წოდება. აგრონომი.
