დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. ახალციხე.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სამუსიკო სკოლა 1933 წელს; 1935 წელს სწავლობდა ქუთაისის პარტიულ სკოლაში.

1935 წლიდან მუშაობდა თბილისში მტკვრის სანაპიროს მშენებლობაზე. 1937 წელს გაიწვიეს წითელ არმიაში. მონაწილეობდა დიდ სამამულო ომში (1941-1945). ომის დაწყების პირველსავე წელს დაიღუპა.პოლიტხელის თანაშემწე.
