The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

გულბაათი, ქართლის სამეფოს პოლიტიკური მოღვაწე XVI საუკუნის 30-40-იან წლებში, თბილისის ციხისთავი. 1541 წელს, ირანის შაჰის თამაზ I-ის საქართველოში პირველი შემოსევის დროს, უღალატა ქართველებს, თბილისის ციხე მტერს ჩააბარა და მუსლიმანობა მიიღო. შაჰმა დააჯილდოვა რენეგატი გულბადი და მისი ვაჟები საკუთარ ამალაში ჩარიცხა.
