The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

ორბელიანთა სახლის უფროსი, ქართლის მეფის სახლთუხუცესი, მეწინავე სადროშოს სარდალი 1796 წლიდან. ორბელიანი საქართველოს რუსეთთან შეერთების მომხრე იყო. შეერთების შემდეგ იგი რუსეთის სამსახურში შევიდა, მიიღო გენერალ-მაიორის წოდება. მონაწილეობდა ერევნის ალყაში. 1804 წლის 2 აგვისტოს ირანელებს ჩაუვარდა ტყვედ. ტყვეობიდან დაბრუნდა 1805 წელს.
