The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. ქუთაისი.

დაამთავრა ხარკოვის უნივერსიტეტის ისტორიის ფაკულტეტი 1958 წელს.

1958 წლიდან მუშაობდა საქართველოს სამეცნიერო-პოპულარული და დოკუმენტური ფილმების სტუდიაში რეჟისორად. გადაიღო რიგი სარეკლამო და სამეცნიერო-პოპულარული ფილმები, მათ შორის "კავკასიური ხალიჩა"(1968), "როდესაც ქვა ცოცხლდება", "თბილისური საღამო" (1968), "ბიჭვინთა" (1974), "ქუთაისი" (1978), "სიცოცხლის ცისფერი ტბები"(1981), "ზღვასთან ბრძოლა არ შეიძლება" (1983), "საოცარი სამყარო"(1984) და სხვ.
