2013 წლის 11 ოქტომბერს იღუმენი დამიანე გამორჩეულ იქნა სამთავისისა და კასპის ეპარქიის ეპისკოპოსად, ხოლო 2013 წლის 3 ნოემბერს მცხეთაში, სვეტიცხოვლის საკათედრო ტაძარში ეპისკოპოსად აკურთხა უწმიდესმა და უნეტარესმა, სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქმა, მცხეთა-თბილისის მთავარეპისკოპოსმა და ბიჭვინთისა და ცხუმ-აფხაზეთის მიტროპოლიტმა ილია II-მ.
