დაამთავრა საქართველოს პოლიტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტის ჰიდროტექნიკურ ნაგებობათა ფაკულტეტი 1978 წელს და შოთა რუსთაველის სახელობის თეატრალური ინსტიტუტის კინოფაკლტეტი 1987 წელს.

გადაიღო მ/მ ფილლმები: "ლელო" (1983), "მეზობელი ზემოდან" (1985), "თამაშის ბოლოს" (1987), "მწირი" (1989). კინორეჟისორი.
