The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. ქუთაისი.

დაამთავრა ქუთაისის კლასიკური გიმნაზია 1915 წელს. სწავლობდა თბილისის სახელმწიფო კონსერვატორიაში.

თბილისში სწავლისას რეჟისორმა ვლადიმერ ბარსკიმ მიიწვია მთავარი როლის შესასრულებლად ფილმში "არსენა ყაჩაღი"(1923). გადაღებულია ფილმებში: "აბრაგი ზაური" (ბ. მიხინი, 1925, რუსეთი), "მეორე ცოლი" (მ. დორონინი, 1927, უზბეკითი), "ჩადრი" (მ. ავერბახი, 1927, უზბეკეთი), "კეთროვანი" (ო. ფრელიხი, 1928, "ვოსტოკ კინო"), "ოქროს ბილიკი" (კ. პიპინაშვილი, 1945).
