The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაამთავრა ვარშავის უნივერსიტეტი 1893 წელს.

1895-1907 და 1912-1921 წლებში მუშაობდა თბილისის ფიზიკურ ობსერვატორიაში. მისი შრომები ძირითადად ეხება კავკასიის კლიმატოლოგიის საკითხებს. პირველმა შეიმუშავა კავკასიის ჰავის დეტალური კლასიფიკაცია, და მოგვცა მისი კლიმატური დარაიონება (1903-1905). 1919-1921 წწ. იყო თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის პროფესორი. კლიმატოლოგი, ფიზიკა-მათემატიკურ მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი (1937), პროფესორი (1921).
