1900-იანი წლებში დასავლეთ გურიის (სუფსისა და გურიანთის რაიონი) რევოლუციური და განმათავისუფლებელი მოძრაობის ერთ-ერთი ხელმძღვანელი და ორგანიზატორი. 1903 წლის 15 ივნისს, თავის დასთან სოფიოსთან ერთად, სუფსიდან მიწვეული იყო ბათუმში რევოლუციის მხარდაჭერის მიზნით გამართულ სოფლის მოსახლეობის პირველ ყრილობაზე. რევოლუციონერი.
