The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

იმერეთის სამეფო კარის უკანასკნელი მხატვარი, ცხოვრობდა და მოღვაწეობდა XVIII-XIX საუკუნეებში. იგი იყო თავისი დროის განთქმული ოსტატი. სოლომონ II-მ ხუთი კომლი გლეხით დაასაჩუქრა და 1802 წელს ბიჭვინთის ეკლესიას შესწირა შვილითა და მამულით: "რომელი, რაოდენ ძალმედვას შენის ხელოვნებით მსახურო". მოხატული აქვს ბიჭვინთის ტაძარიც.
