The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

1939-1945წწ. II მსოფლიო ომის მონაწილე; 1952 წლიდან მსახურობდა საქართველოს სსრ სახელმწიფო უშიშროების ორგანოებში; 1962-1965წწ. იყო აჭარის ასსრ შს მინისტრი; 1965-1970წწ. თბილისის შსს სამმართველოს უფროსი; 1972-1979წწ. საქართველოს შს მინისტრი; შინაგანი სამსახურის გენერალ-ლეიტენანტი (1975).
