მისი აღზრდილები არიან რ. აბრამიშვილი, ი. ბერიაშვილი, ა. მაისურაძე, შ. მორჩილაძე, მ. სალაძე. სპორტის სახეობა: ბერძნულ–რომაული ჭიდაობა. 1987 წელს დასახელებულ იქნა "სსრკ წლის საუკეთესო მწვრთნელად".
