The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

დაბადების ადგილი: ქ. გურჯაანი.

მონაწილეობდა რუსეთ-ირანის (1826–1828), რუსეთ-ოსმალეთის (1828–1829) და ყირიმის (1853–1856) ომებში. 1831 წლიდან იყო პირველი ქართველი ლეგიონის ორგანიზატორი და მეთაური, დაღესტნის დივიზიის მეთაური. 1846 წელს მიენიჭა გენერალ-მაიორის წოდება. რუსეთის არმიის გენერალ-ლეიტენანტი (1850), გენერალ ადიუტანტი (1852).
