დაამთავრა ა.ს. პუშკინის სახ. თბილისის სახელმწიფო პედაგოგიური ინსტიტუტი 1969 წელს.

ფილოლოგი, სულხან საბა ორბელიანის სახ. სახელმწიფო პედაგოგიური უნივერსიტეტის დოცენტი.

ფილოლოგიის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი, სადისერტაციო თემა: "მ. ჯავახიშვილის ''არსენა მარაბდელი'' (ტექსტოლოგიურ-მხატვრული ანალიზი)", დაიცვა 1989 წელს.
