დაბადების ადგილი: ამბროლაურის რაიონი, სოფელი ბარეული.

დაამთავრა ქუთაისის ინდუსტრიული ტექნიკუმიი 1929 წელს; საქართველოს ინდუსტრიული ინსტიტუტი 1937 წელს.

1941-1945წწ. იბრძოდა სტალინგრადთან, კურსკთან, ხარკოვთან. ომის შემდგომ თბილისში მუშაობდა სხვადასხვა სამეურნეო თანამდებობაზე.
