დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ჟურნალისტიკის ფაკულტეტი 1982 წელს.

1982 წლიდან მუშაობს გაზეთ "თბილისის" რედაქციაში. იყო კორესპონდენტი, განყოფილების გამგე, რედაქტორის მოადგილე, რედაქტორი.
