The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

1361–1391წწ. იყო სამცხის გამგებელი, ათაბაგი(ვახუშტი ბატონიშვილის მიხედვით). ყვარყვარე I უფროსი ძე. 1334 წელს გიორგი V ბრწყინვალემ შემოიერთა სამცხე და ამ დროიდან მის მმართველებს, რომლებიც ათაბაგის საპატიო ტიტულს ატარებდნენ, საქართველოს მეფეები ნიშნავდნენ. თემურლენგის პირველი შემოსევის დროს(1386 წელი) ბექა II განუდგა საქართველოს მეფე ბაგრატ V-ს და მტერს დანებდა.
