სწავლობდა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტში 1939 წლიდან.

1940 წლიდან იყო საბჭოთა არმიის რიგებში; მიღებული აქვს სახელმწიფო ჯილდოები, მათ შორის საბრძოლო ორდენები და მედლები.
